Success means when you are able to achieve your desired goal. some people have the notion  that success means the capacity of wealth you have or the accumulation of wealth. but intellectually it means what you are able to give either knowledge, time or money. however you have to have something before you could give. Like the inventors acquire knowledge and taught the public. This is what I call success .when you are able to give something  to humanity

    have once heard from a teacher that success is when you are able to maximize your ability and potentials in you, for instance if your talent is singing and you are able to maximize it, you are a successful person. Don’t get me wrong, a wealthy person is a successful person when you have been able to achieve your goal, wealth would follow if you’re a success person like Oprah Winfrey is a renowned talk show host that’s because she has been able to maximize her skills, she was probably a good listener and a good motivator and she was able to maximize her ability and of course she is wealthy. Because she knew what her talent was and she maximized it. This is who I call a successful person. Sometimes you found out a wealthy person doesn’t always feel successful because he is not satisfied with is achievements since he has not maximize is abilities. Success is like a goal we all want to accomplish in our career, family, and life generally.

    To be successful you need to discover your potentials and abilities to maximize them to your achievement in life, I don’t think success is about the level of education you have been able to obtain but the level of understanding you have been able to acquire .Always seek for knowledge but never hesitate to acquire understanding. So be a success story like the lives of Whitney Houston, Aliko Dangote, fela Kuti.THE ABITITY  TO MAXIMIZE YOUR POTENTIALS I CALL IT SUCCESS……

   Y.O.L.O is an abbreviation and it means you only live once. I wonder who originated it. But its  definitely a massive word. And I guess its probably the westerns that coined it. And am a big fan of the abbreviation. But I think Y.O.L.O means more to just the abbreviation. To unravel the meaning we first most understand what life means. I tried to define life in a simple sentence thought its not universally accepted, but I tried to make sure it contained every aspect of life in one sentence. LIFE IS A JOURNEY AND GETTING TO YOUR DESTINATION DEPENDS ON YOUR DRIVE TOWARDS LIFE, drive here means either enthusiastic, slow, hold ups, free. Etc that’s me talking. having said that we know we have a destination to reach, but encompasses so many route(journey).

   Y.O.LO- you only live once so make the best of what you have today. Like the adage says make hay while the sun shine. Whatever thing, belief, tradition, value, culture you probably have makes you. Whatever thing that has happened today has gone forever but affects our tomorrow. Its either you make it right or wrong, the legacy you live behind is coined from what you have been able to do in the life that you lived. We have a very long range of time, thought life is short. Every mistake you make would always have a mark but every solution would clear the mark. But the mark stays if u are unable to find solutions to it. Your family, career, background and life is owned once and done once nobody has a second chance in the world, we only walk on he earth soil once ,so make sure you treat the soil well so when you go back to it, it would treat you well.

  Focus, determination, is what is needed in every life situation. To have a great legacy is to be have lived greatly in life, Y.O.L.O isn’t all about partying but telling you, you don’t have another life to life so be the best you can be because life is short #team YOLO…YOUR LEGACY SPEAKS FOR YOU AFTER YOU HAVE LIVED…people like Martin Luther king jr. an industrial strike action; the University of Ilorin chapter is yet to join the fray as lecturers are divided as a result of alleged threats made by the University authority against those who participate.
Presently, the lecturers in the country are on strike, protesting an agreement signed with the federal government four years ago for certain demands, but two factions of ASUU in UNILORIN are trading blames over the appropriateness or otherwise for not joining in the struggle.
The university has not been participating in any strike action called by the national body of the union, for the past eleven years, a situation attributed to the fallout of the sack of 49 lecturers by the former Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Shuaib Oba Abduraheem.
A lecturer of the school, Mr Kayode Afolayan accused the school authority for cajoling and threatening the lecturers with sack if they unionize or join strike action under any guise.
He claimed that they were recognised by the national leadership of the union, adding that efforts are on-going to sensitise the members on the benefits inherent in belonging to the mainstream of the union.
However, a factional chairman of ASUU, Professor Wahab Egbewole said that the decision not to participate in any strike action was reached 11 years ago by all members of the chapter.
He added that this was in a bid to ensure the educational stability of the institution.
He also said that strike actions has brought about a lot of backwardness to the educational development in the country while urging the national leadership of ASUU to come out with other means of fighting for the cause of members instead of incessant strike actions.
He commended his members for earning legally what they worked for unlike others who would still be paid salaries for the period of the strike.
However, the chairman of another faction of the association in UniIlorin, Olohuntoba-oju cited embarrassment from other colleagues in the country and immorality in collecting from the largesse fought and won by others.
The situation at UNILORIN presently is calm as most of the classrooms and halls are under lock and key due to the long vacation of students who just finished their second semester examination and are expected to resume by September.
